| 1790Thomas Goodwin resided in Berwick and married Elizabeth Abbott before 1723. He is called "Junior" on the Berwick records; perhaps junior to his uncle, Thomas, or to his cousin Thomas. He is called "Senior" in 1729, according to Captain Goodwin's copy, but Rev. George Lewis copies it for me as "Junior." I simply cannot place him, unless he were a son of James, as Thomas, son of Daniel, married Abigail Seward, and Thomas, son of Thomas, married Elizabeth Butler, and these two, were the only sons of Daniel who had sons names Thomas, unless Daniel's son James had such a son. I think Thomas was a son of James. Thomas resided in Berwick. |
