| In 1778, Silas bought land in Amherst from his father, Ephraim.1681 In 1797, Silas and Sarah Robbins of Westfield, NY and Samuel and Sally Cole of Kingsbury, NY sold land in Amherst next to that of Silas' brothers John and Willard Robbins.1682 Silas is listed in the 1790 federal census of Granville, NY, and in the 1800 census of Westfield, NY, both in Washington County. The 1790 enumeration suggests several children, but the only one known is Amos, b. at Killingly 28 April 1774.1683 |
