They lived in the Chelmsford-Westford area, near the farm of John Hutchins, Jr.,1619 on ot very near land originally granted to Thomas' father, George Robbins.
In his will dated 9 August 1765, witnessed by Stephen Shattuck, Thomas Hardy, Jr., and Lydia Hardy, Thomas Robbins gave all his estate, both real and personal, to his wife Sarah and named he executrix. On 3 August 1768 Sarah sent a note to Judge Danforth saying that "upon Paruseing the will I thought it good for nothing so I Dont intend to git it Proved So I Being not able to make Settlement my Self I Desire that My Son Philip Robbens would Take administration in my Behalf he Being the oldest [living] Son."1618 |
