984During the Indian wars of 1688-1712 he moved his family from danger and lived in Gloucester, Mass., and the births of eight of his children were recorded there. Two more children are recorded at York, whither he returned after the peace of 1712, and the birth of one son, Joseph, mentioned in his will as an "elder son," is not recorded in either place.
In 1714 and again in 1726, George and Abigail Stover signed deeds His will was made "Ye 21 year of his Majts reign Anno Domini 1747," and the inventory of his estate amounted to pounds 689.19s.8d.1012 |
