| Notes for Susan WEYMOUTH |
| 65Susan Weymouth before marriage was a Fall River, Mass., cotton mill employee. |
| Notes for Robert H. (Spouse 1) |
65From the journal of Dorothy Halverson Morrison: My great grandparents, Robert and Susan Weymouth, were born in Maine (1820 or 30). They were first cousins which probably accounts for the strain of peculiarity that runs through the family. Judson Weymouth was born in 1850 in Maine, so evidently his parents were married there and had their family there as he was one of the younger members. The children of Susan and Robert were Board, Ed, Judson, Albert and Jennie (married name Anies) and they also raised a niece, Lillie Hackney.
From the Herring papers: Mr. Weymouth was a shoemaker until about 1857-9 when the family went west and settled near Princeton, Wis. He was a farmer to 1889 when he made his home with his son Judson. Republican to 1886 when he turned a Prohibitionist. Baptist He was married to Susan Weymouth on 20 Apr 1845. |
