He first married Abigail Gay April 10, 1716 who died June 1, 1718 having one son Nathaniel. He next married Susannah Starr January 6 1718, who died April 10, 1731, by whom he had one son and five daughters. He married third Mary Sumner Dec 30, 1731 who died April 28, 1770.
