| 1133Nathaniel was born in England about 1630, came to America in early life and settled in Hampton. He married Dec. 10, 1656, Deborah, daughter of John Smith of Martha's Vineyard. She died March 8, 1676, and he married second, Oct. 31, 1676, Mrs. Mary Wyman of Woburn, Mass., widow of John Wyman, and daughter of Rev. Thomas Carter. She was a cousin of his first wife. She died in 1688, and Oct. 23, 1689, he married Elizabeth, widow of John Knill, who survived him. He died Jan. 17, 1710, aged about eighty years. He had seventeen children, nine by the first marriage and eight by the second. He was a prosperous and prominent citizen of Hampton. |
