| Sometimes listed as David's son, but believed to be illegitimate son of David's daughter Mary Jr. and William Harmon. The latter theory is the more likely of the two due to the descrepency between David and his wife Mary Sr.'s children's birth dates and Ithamar's birth date (which is almost 12 years after David and Mary Sr.'s youngest child). It is possible that Ithamar was, in fact, raised by David as Mary may have been too young to care for a child by herself. |
