| 1097He filed Elizabeth A. Howe (1224): were intention of marriage on on 30 August 1845 in Rumford, Oxford, Maine. In a letter from Daniel Harlow Lufkin, great-grandson of Nathan, he wrote: "My Great-grandfather , Nathan S. Lufkin, was locally prominent in Aroostook County, Maine. He was a J.P. (Justice of the Peace), a magistrate, a surveyor, and a pioneer scientific farmer. Nathan was a law clerk in the office of Franklin Pierce in dover, N.H." |
