1053Nicholas Thorndike of Greenfield in Aby, Lincolnshire, yeoman, was buried at Aby 11 June 1596.1054 According to Canon Maddison's pedigree of the Thorndike family of Greenfield, Nicholas Thorndike married Frances (or Margaret) Southrey or Sotheby.1055 It is possible that Margaret (Southrey or Sotheby) Thorndike was Nicholas's first wife, and that Frances (____) Blanchard, who brought him "her owne goodes," was his second wife.
