580Daniel studied law at E. Randolph, VT, lived in Bethel, VT 5 years. Moved to Jefferson, WI in the spring of 1850; living there in 1870; settled on a farm near Marshall, MN where he spent the rest of his life. Elizabeth was the sister of Daniel's grandson's wife. She came to visit her sister in 1888/9 and fell in love.
