| 766John Butland, in court (for swearing) in 1659 in conjunction with William Butland. Lists 33, 269b. Grand juror 1688. In 1687 he exchanged his 600 acre farm at the mouth of the Kennebunk River for James Littlefield's farm in lower Wells. Adm. 1 Nov. 1704 to sons. His wife Sarah, m. by 1670 was apparently the daughter of Elizabeth (Norton) Stover, called Lancaster in her mother's will at Scituate, 7 Dec. 1714, and Longstaff in m. at Pembroke, 24 Oct. 1717, to John Roan.
