| r6 Nathaniel was educated in the local schools and a graduate of New Hampton Theological Seminary in NH. He was ordained and preached in Burnham, Exeter and Troy. Lived in Pittsfield about 30 years and moved to Troy in 1876. He was one of the founders of the Maine Central Institute of Troy, ME. Weymouth Hall is named in his honor and a lovely picture of him hangs on the wall which is said to have been done by his niece called Jennie, daughter of Bradford. The Reverend was a Baptist. A very kind an and loved by all. The 1860-70 Census had him living in Pittsfield as head of fmily and father and mother living with him. In 1880, was in Troy, father and Mr. & Mrs. Dodge. His dad died the same year he did. |
