Deacon John Chapin, Jr.'s will was filed in Greenfield, MA on 12 September, 1815. Olive and Perly Chapin were not mentioned in his will dated 22 March 1814. He was prominent in town and church affairs, he became a Deacon in 1771 and an Elder in 1785. He removed to Heath, MA in 1804.
