| Notes for Hannah Webster (Spouse 1) |
| There is a statue of Hannah Emerson Duston in Haverhill across from the library. She was captured by Indians after they killed her baby. After several days in captivity, she escaped with the help of another captive. She killed 10 Indians in the process and escaped down the river to Hudson, NH with the Indians scalps to prove her story. |
