| "Moses, the eleventh child and youngest son of Aquila, was born in 1663 and married Ann Follansbee, the sister of the wife of his brother Thomas. She died in 1708 at the birth of her youngest son, Benoni, and was buried in the old yard at the plains, near Sawyer's hill, and her tombstone bears the earliest date of any belonging to the family, so far as I am aware. Moses was buried 35 years later in the Ferry Lane yard, now known as the Bridge street cemetery in West Newbury. The yard also contains the stones of three others bearing the name of Moses in successive generations." | ||||||||||||||||||
