Notes for Benjamin GOODRIDGE
A convincing article in TAG, vol. 13, pp. 78-82 demonstrates that Benjamin md. (1st) Deborah Jordan, 8 Sep 1663. An error in the original record says that he married Mary Jordan. Mary Jordan md. John Kimball, 8 Oct 1666. Benjamin was killed by Indians along with his wife and two of his children. Two additional children were taken to Canada by the Indians but were returned the following year. The older boys apparently were not at home at the time. Married second, 16 Nov 1678, Newbury, Essex, MA, Sarah CROAD. Married first, 8 Sep 1663, Newbury, Essex, MA, Deborah JORDAN.
