| !William Chesebrough moved in 1826 from Knox to Guilderland Center and was a blacksmith by trade. In 1836, he sold his blacksmith shop and bought 100 acres of timberland in Guilderland. He may have died 1877, vice 1875. CHESEBROUGH GEN. ! Williams will, dtd 8 Nov 1871, recorded 22 May 1876, (vol 20, p.36) left to his son, Thaddeus, all property real and personal; to wife, Roxanna, all lawful rights; to daughters Sarah, Maria, and Mary, $1,000 each to be paid by executor within one year of my decease. Executor; son, Thaddeus. |
