Daughter of James Buzzell Hussey (1820-88) and Mary Elizabeth Leighton (b. 1834), his wife, m. 1863. [p.317] Granddaughter of Timothy Hussey and Susanna Buzzell, his wife; Joel Leighton, Jr. (1790-1851), and Betsey Labree (1799-1864), his wife, m. 1824. Gr-granddaughter of James Buzzell and Tabitha Allen (1756-1833), his wife, m. 1781; Peter Labree and Mehitable Smith (d. 1807), his wife; Joel Leighton and Betsey Huntress, his wife. James Buzzell (1758-1838) was a drummer, 1775, in Capt. Noah Littlefield's company, Massachusetts militia. In 1832, he applied for a pension, and his claim was granted. He was born in Wells; died in Acton, Me. Also No. 45381. Peter Labree served as a seaman under various commands. He enlisted under Captain Crabtree. He was born in Acadia; died in Brentwood, N. H. Joel Leighton (1754-1810) served as private under Captains Joseph Parsons, Jonathan Leavitt, and Joseph Dow, New Hampshire troops. He died in Exeter, N. H. | ||||
