87Rev. Mr. Nelson was well educated but ill health prevented Williams College graduation. He was commissioned 1802 by Mass. Missionary Society and was over 50 years in the minitery. Said to have preached 5,700 different seromns. Ha gave liberally to his parish. He left no posterity.
