Mr. Graves made a host of friends in the wholesale business houses here, and in 1921 left his position with the Pillsbury concern to become a partner in Graves & Brown, wholesale flour brokers, with offices in the Massasoit building and later in the Commercial Trust building. He was noted for his unassuming manner and for his strict sense of fairness in business dealing.
