Obituary - Carl Fisher Graves - 23 Oct. 1965

Carl Fisher Graves, 69, of Glenwood Gardens, died Thursday in Yonkers General Hospital after a brief illness. A resident of Yonkers for 20 years, he was born April 25, 1896 in Albany, N.Y., to the late Francis D. and Helen Fisher Graves. He attended public schools in Albany and Springfield, Mass. Mr. Graves was a veteran of World War I and had served in France. He was a director of the Railway and Locomotive Historical Society in Boston and was a treasurer of the local chapter in New York City. An employee of the New York Central Railroad for 40 years, he retired four years ago as process engineer. Mr. Graves is survived by his wife, the former Maud Gage; a sister, Mrs. Charles H. (Helen) Weymouth Jr. of Harwich, Mass., a niece and a nephew.
