| Notes for Moses SOULE |
53Moses married second , at Duxbury, 15 January 1729/3054, Sarah Chandler. Moses and Sarah had no children.
r15 Daughter Ruth Soule was unmarried on 5 june 1761 when she was named in the will of Priscilla Southworth, and is presumed to be the Ruth Soule who died 17 March 1777. (Priscilla Southworth, sister of Mercy, in her will of 1761 named three nieces, daughter of Mercy Soule deceased: Deborah wife of John Hunt, Alice widow of Barnabas Perry and now wife of Edward King and Ruth Soule.)
Moses died intestate and his son Isaac was appointed adminitrator of his estate 25 January 1748/9. On 4 September 1749 the Probate Court approved the division of the estate to Isaac (eldest son), Cornelius, Barnabas, Abigail the only child of Ichabod Soule, Gideon, Jebediah, and Ruth Soule; and to Else (Alice) the wife of Barnabas Perry, and Deborah Hunt.

Mercy married, probably about 1700-1701 (estimated birth of first child), Moses Soule, son of John Soule and his wife Rebecca Simmons and grandson of Mayflower passenger George Soule,5657 born at Duxbury, about 166957; died between 9 May 1748 (list of qualified voters58 AND 25 January 1748/9 (administration). |

Buried in Old Pioneer Cemetery r15
53Sarah Chandler was not the daughter of Joseph Chandler as reported in Mayflower Families 3:16. Joseph's daughter died unmarried in 173759 and would have only been fifteen years old at the time of sixty-year-old Moses Soule's second marriage60. |
