r15 James Soule's children were both in that part of North Yarmouth which became a part of Freeport in 1789. At his death, the surviving children were: Charles, James Jr., Andrew, Samuel, Dorcas Milby and Joshua.
1James Soule served in the American Revolution and stationed at Fort Independence in 1776, and testified in 1822 that he often saw his brother Jesse Soule there.
