| 9Job Swinerton, Sr. was fined by the Salem court 9 Nov 1655 for the "brutal & lascivious beating" of Ann, the daughter of John THORNDIKE. Apparantly, Ann never recovered from the beating, and John THORNDIKE's will, written before he went to England to visit his brother, Herbert, at Westminster Abbey with two other daughters, assign's Ann's care to his son, Paul. | ||||||||
