Mrs. Charles H. WEYMOUTH
Mrs. Etta May (DAVIS) WEYMOUTH, 91, of 60 Edgemont St. (Springfield), died today. She was born in Lewiston, ME., daughter of Joseph J. and Hannah (SOULE) DAVIS, making her home in this city for the past 18 years. A life member of Union Congregational Church in South Grafton, she attended Hope Congregational Church here and was a member of the Society of Earnest Workers of South Grafton Union Congregational Church and first president of the South Grafton Woman's Club. She was formerly a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She married Charles H. Weymouth on Dec 31, 1891 in Lewiston, ME. Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, S. Emmons of South Grafton, Dr. Charles H., Jr., of Littleton, formerly of Longmeadow and this city, and Harold D. of this city; five grandchildren, 12 great-grand children, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at the Graham-Wallengren Funeral Home Monday at 11am.
Rev. J. Kenneth Clinton, pastor of Hope Congregational Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, South Grafton. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Memorial Fund of Hope Congregational Church. |
